The aim of the exhibition All Colors of Nepal since 2011 with support of the then Honorary Consul of Nepal in the Czech Republic, Ing. Rajendra Shrestha, is to raise funds to build new primary schools in the poor mountain region of Nepal by selling photographs.
The project coordinator and organizer of the exhibition is Jan Žalud, who in cooperation with his friends and the Namasté Nepal association selected several dozen photographs from Nepal from the team of authors (currently Klára Jakešová, Zuzana Jeriová, Lukáš Kolísko, Marek Matuštík, Zlata Kolísková (Mrázová), Jan Pradáč, Jaroslav Volšický, Dagmar Vyhnálková and Jan Žalud). All authors decided to donate all proceeds from the sale of their photographs to the project.
You can support the All Colors of Nepal project in several ways:
- by purchasing a selected photo directly at the exhibition venue
- by ordering photos online on the project website
- by purchasing a Nepal-made product in our Nepalese shop
- a specific financial gift in a public collection
The exhibition began in March 2011 in Prague 10 and in the following months traveled to other cities in the Czech Republic, including Liberec, Hrádek nad Nisou, Mladá Boleslav, České Budějovice, Svitavy, Klatovy, Ostrava and other places.
